• When will repairs start?

  Only after the customer and insurer provide authorization to repair the vehicle, all parts will be ordered as required for the overall repair. However, only the vehicle owner can give the final authorization for all auto repairs. If no removal of parts is needed and the vehicle is drivable repairs can be scheduled and once all the necessary parts for repair are received, work can begin on repairing the vehicle.

• Do you offer a replacement vehicle?

  Replacement vehicles are normally a part of your insurance policy and your selected coverages. If you have replacement vehicle coverage, your insurance company will grant you a daily rental rate and arrange for a vehicle rental through an auto rental facility such as Enterprise Rent-A-Car

• How long will the repair take?

  Our collision repair process begins with an inspection of the vehicle by an estimator at NW Houston Auto Repair where all the body and mechanical work will be done. The results of the inspection are documented, photos of the vehicle are taken, and the information is passed on to the insurance company and/or provided to the customer. However, our estimates are solely based on visible damage. Often, additional damage is uncovered after disassembly that cannot be noticed from strictly a visible standpoint. We will work with your insurance provider to change the repair estimate to include all applicable damages.

• Do you have experience with my vehicle make and model?

  Our collision repair technicians are certified and have experience repairing all types of vehicles.

• Is my vehicle covered for damages while being repaired?

  Our shop carries all required Texas commercial liability insurances.

• Will I get an itemized bill after repairs are complete?

  Insurance companies require that we provide them with itemized repair costs that align with our initial estimate. We have to obtain prior authorization from the insurance company to do any additional repairs that are not part of the original estimate. All cost estimates and actual costs are provided to the vehicle owner in accordance with Texas State Law and Insurance practices.

• Do you offer a warranty?

  We warranty parts for 12 months and labor for the life of the vehicle. Warranties are not transferable and are limited to the work performed. In cases of misuse, neglect, alteration, off-road use or malfunction not due to normal wear and tear, our warranty is void.
